Lady’s Mantle is a low growing, hardy perennial best suited to the edges of borders. It grows in clumps, spreading quickly to provide good ground cover. Furthermore, during the summer season it produces unusual, lime-green flowers. The sweet nectar of these blooms attracts bees and butterflies, making the plant a useful addition to wildlife gardens. After rainfall, it’s easy to see why this Alchemilla mollis is named ‘Thriller’, for raindrops rest on its fan-shaped leaves to create a wonderful spectacle, shining like diamonds against the green foliage. Height: 50cm (1’8); Spread: 50cm (1’8).
