A wonderful tiered shrub with elegant, wide-spreading branches bearing pretty white, lacecap flowers in late spring. The leaves are prominently veined and textured, taking on warm purple and red hues in autumn before falling. Commonly known as the Japanese Snowball Bush due to its abundance of white flowers, Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum is an ideal specimen shrub or grow it in mixed borders and woodland gardens. Tolerant of part shade and unfussy about soil, Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum is a fabulous low-maintenance addition to the garden. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2m (6.5′).
